The Gold Coast in Western Australia is the sixth most populated city in the country, as suggested by the name; it is a city famous for the amazing beaches, some for relaxing, and some for surfing as well as its renowned waterway and canal systems. Climate

The Gold Coast has a warm sub tropical climate which means the summers are hot and dry and the winters are milder. The summer has temperatures reaching around 30 degrees centigrade and lots of sunshine making it a popular tourist destination. In the winter the temperature tends to sit between 9 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius making it very pleasant even if you visit in the winter. In the Gold Coast, spring is from September to November, summer is December to February, autumn is March to May and winter is June to August.

What to do

The Waterfront canal is a big feather of The Gold Coast; the Gold Coast Sea way which sits between what is known as The Spit and South Stradbroke Islands lets boats access the Pacific Ocean into The Broadwater, which is one of the canals in the city. Make sure you take a ride on a boat and take a tour around the city to see how well the waterways are run.

The beaches are also huge tourist pullers; there is the Surfers Paradise beach, the Surfers Paradise, Broad beach, Mermaid Beach, Nobbit Beach, Tallebudgera Beach, Palm Beach, Froggies Beach, Snapper Rocks, Rainbow Beach, Bilinga, Kirra, Coolangatta and more. This city if absolutely full of beaches so if one is too busy, then remember to have a walk around. There are also inland beaches to visit such as Jacobs well, Budds Beach, Marine Stadium, Evandale Lake , Paradise point and more.

There are also the obvious attractions like Dreamworld, Sea World, Water Bros. World and White Water World.
