Climate

What to do
Madrid is known as a lively town with lots going on; there are plenty of clubs, bars and restaurants to go to in the evening. If you want to go for a culture tour then visit some of the museums in town; the Museo Del Prado is the main art gallery in the city and has free admission. The Museo Taurino is a museum dedicated to the old tradition of bull fighting. There is also the Panteon de Goya, which is the famous Spanish painter’s final resting place and has a collection o his arts.
Madrid is a football loving city and is the home to Real Madrid and Athletico Madrid. If you love football you can visit the stadiums; the Vicente Calderon and Santiago Bernabeu. On match days the stadiums will be nearly impossible to visit as it gets very busy.
Depending on your personal views, you may want to see a Bullfight. Although many people out of Spain view the practise as cruel, it has been a part of Spanish and Madrid culture for many years. Madrid has two bullrings, Vista Algre and Las Ventas which has a capacity of 20,000 people. They tale place every Sunday from mid May to October. You can buy tickets on the day.
