Brazil is the largest country in South America with the largest population – it is a large geographical region filled with Portuguese and some Spanish speakers. Climate

The climate in Brazil varies widely since it is a huge expanse of land although the majority of the country has a tropical, therefore sunny temperature. However it also has other types of climates, such as tropical (like the rainforest), temperate (moderate), semi-arid (similar to a desert) and equatorial (extremely hot). The average temperature is 25 degrees centigrade and certainly in the most poplar regions for tourists the sun is usually out with some rainfall.

What to do

Brazil has a mixed climate which encourages the varied wildlife and fauna which grows in the most famous area of land, the Amazonian Rainforest which houses thousands of plants and creatures. If you can, take a guided tour into the rainforest, you will need your appropriate jabs in case you are bitten and don’t forget to take the right kind of footwear with you.

Brazilian cities are amazing and full of things to do. If you go to the capital, Rio De Janeiro then you must go to see the Iguassu Falls, which is sometimes regarded a natural wonder of the world – it is an amazing waterfall which you can view from the bottom on a boat ride. Rio also hosts the world’s most famous carnival in the world, full of colour floats and dancers.

There are also plenty of beaches for the tourist who love them; visit Copacabana or Ipanema in Rio or Buzios and Jericoacoara in Ceara or Morro de Sao Paulo in Bahia.
